What Is NOT Included
- Uniforms
What Is Expected
- Wear the Atomic Training Top to practice
- Wear the Sparks uniforms to games.
- MUST wear shin guards to be able to play. No exceptions.
- All shoes MUST be close-toed. Soccer cleats are encouraged. Metal cleats are prohibited.
- Players are expected to come to training prepared with water & adequate apparel for weather.
*Our Sparks teams are expected to grow throughout the season. There is no registration deadline. Players can join anytime throughout the year.
Age Group Game Play
Academy: 4 v 4, with NO goalkeeper
- Roster Size: 6 – 12 Players per team
- Games: (4) 10 Min Quarters with 5 Min Breaks
- Ball Size: 3
- Field Dimensions: Field Length 25-35 / Field Width 15-25
- Goal Size: 4×6
- Heading: Not Allowed
- Build Out Line: Half Line*
- Offside: None
*Build Out Line: Upon a goal kick or goalkeeper save, opposing players must return and wait at the half line before the ball is played. This allows the defending team to have more time to build out an offensive play.

Training Fees: The training fees will increase with age and level of play, as coaches spend more time training older teams and/or premier teams.
Referee Fees: Certified Center Referee
Dedicated Coaching Staff: Each team has a dedicated Atomic Head Coach. As kids get older the training and licenses of coaches also increase.
What Is NOT Included
- Tournaments
- Indoor Soccer Leagues
- Winter Indoor Training Space (fundraising opportunity TBA)
*To be determined by each coach and will be disclosed when player offers are made.)
What Is Expected

- Games: (2) 25 Min Haves with 5 Min Halftimes – No stoppage time
- Referee Structure: 1 Center 2 *CCL Referees
- Ball Size: 4
- Field Dimensions: Field Length 55-65 / Field Width 35-45
- Goal Size: 6.5×18 (recommended)
- Heading: Not Allowed
- Build Out Line: Yes*
- Offside: Yes – After the Build outline
* CCL Referee: Each team will provide a parent volunteer who goes through a short training to be a side-line referee
*Build Out Line: A line is painted on each side halfway between the penalty box and the midfield. Upon a goal kick or goalkeeper save, opposing players must return and wait at the build out line before the ball is played. This allows the defending team have more time to build out an offensive play.

Administrative Support: Older competitive teams have more tournaments and diverse training options.
Referee Fees: One Certified Center Referee and two Certified Sideline Referees
Dedicated Coaching Staff: Each team has a dedicated Atomic Head Coach and assigned assistant. As kids get older the training and licenses of coaches also increase.
