Guidelines for the Scholarship Program:

1. The deadline for scholarship applications is June 16, 2023, and must be submitted through our website by 11:59 pm.

2. Scholarship applicants must provide detailed financial information, including previous year’s Tax Filings and proof of eligibility for free or reduced lunch. If your player does not qualify for free or reduced lunch but you believe there is a need for a scholarship, you may still apply for consideration. Priority will be given to players on free or reduced lunch.

3. Only one full scholarship can be awarded per family due to limited availability.

4. Scholarship recipients must commit to the club for a full year. If a player leaves before the year is over, they are responsible for the yearly fee.

5. Players are expected to attend all practices, training sessions, and games. In case of absence, parents must notify the coach in advance. Returning players may be contacted to confirm their commitment and attendance from the previous year before a scholarship is awarded.

6. Parents or guardians of scholarship recipients must contribute a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer service at our academy training, or other approved events. An additional five hours of volunteer service for the club, as approved by the Board of Directors, is required throughout the year. Proof of volunteer service is necessary for future scholarship consideration. Failure to complete volunteer service may result in the deactivation of the player’s scholarship, requiring the family to pay all club fees.

7. Scholarships are awarded for one year only. Players seeking scholarships for consecutive years must reapply annually.

8. Scholarship recipients are responsible for paying the following fees: UYSA fees, state league fees, team tournament fees, all team fees, and indoor league or practice fees (if applicable).
